Ryder who?
Ryder Corey is an accomplished woodwind instrumentalist and dedicated educator located in the Worcester area. He attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell for his undergraduate degrees in Music Studies and Music Performance. He later studied at Boston University to receive his Master’s degree in Music Education. Ryder teaches band, piano, and guitar classes at South High Community School in Worcester, Massachusetts and teaches private lesson online for the Interlochen Arts Academy
In addition to his role in education, Ryder is an active performer, lending his musical talents to various ensembles. Noteworthy among these are his contributions to Funktapuss, a dynamic funk and soul group, the South Coast Brass Band—a New Orleans-style brass ensemble—and the Sultans, a prominent wedding and event band.
Ryder's commitment to musical excellence is evident in his diverse repertoire and engagements with reputable musical groups. Beyond his musical pursuits, he engages in physical fitness activities including lifting weights or enjoying a game of disc golf.
